The publishing house that started it all: Naumann & Göbel Verlagsgesellschaft, named after its founders, specialises in contemporary and popular guidebooks and activity books for adults with an attractive price-performance ratio. NGV books have been found in almost every household for decades. The topics are broad and always up-to-date: cookery books, puzzle blocks, DIY instructions, creative activities, fitness stands, street atlases ...

Very British, indeed: our children’s book start-up Three Wishes, founded in 2024, is based in Sheffield. The young publishing house has ambitious plans: the first programme will be published in 2025 and contain around 40 titles. It is aimed at English-speaking customers in the USA, Canada and the UK as well as international co-print partners.

Are you looking for an experienced content partner for sure-fire recipes? We create cookery books for you, deliver intelligently prepared cooking content or build up your cooking community. Benefit from our expertise and our centrepiece: our extensive recipe database featuring over 30,000 recipes. All recipe ingredients are normalised and linked to the Federal Food Code. The recipes can be conveniently exported for various channels using the common XML exchange format.

The logistics service provider VIP has enriched our Group since 2022. As a broker of logistics services, VIP manages the import, storage and transport for our publishing houses as well as for customers outside the Group. This key expertise, which is rare in the publishing world, offers an important market advantage in terms of 360-degree service for our international branch customers.

VEMAG has its own distribution centre with 10,000 pallet spaces in Bergheim near Cologne. The storage and packaging of several million books per year is controlled from here. Customer requirements take centre stage: product ranges are assembled and priced on request, displays are set up and stocked.

Our book wholesaler Burkart has been successful for over 25 years as a promotional supplier of inexpensive books. Burkart deals in remaining stock and special items from well-known publishers from all over Germany. Every year, more than 50,000 displays are produced and supplied to over 14,000 sales outlets nationwide - quickly, reliably and flexibly. The permanent availability of more than 3 million books ensures that various book ranges, e.g. with children’s books, guidebooks, puzzles, paperback remakes and other formats, are also available at short notice. Burkart also offers rackjobbing. Over 1,000 shops with fixed shelf units for bestsellers are now regularly supported and visited by our sales force.

With its two successful imprints pen2nature and naturalis, the former start-up Good Life Books has now become one of the top German addresses for resource-saving books in which you can doodle, draw and write. All of the publisher’s titles are printed on 100% pure white recycled paper; the young team also supports reforestation projects.

Our publishing house Schätz mal Verlag (SMV) has invented a quiz format in which knowing nothing doesn’t matter! The colourful puzzle blocks on many topics have been taking the hearts of quizzers by storm since 2023 - and the bestseller lists in the book trade.

Bringing innovation to the puzzle market - that is the mission of delphin-Verlag, which will publish its first programme in spring 2025. Themed puzzle formats with a stylish look form the basis of the new premium puzzle book publisher from Cologne.

WMP is one of our youngest start-ups and specialises in the passionate publishing of artfully illustrated collector’s books. The first book will be published in autumn 2024 - a 400-page, large-format, magnificent volume: The Book - The Ultimate Guide to Rebuilding a Civilisation.
