Christmas is long gone, and Carnival is just around the corner. The fundraising campaign, in which employees of our group donated 2.5 truckloads of winter clothing, blankets, and candles, and we as a publishing house added several thousand activity books, is now history. Unfortunately, the war in Ukraine is not. Neither is the harsh winter. Cold, fear, and uncertainty still dominate the everyday lives of children there.

The photos and videos we received from eastern Ukraine have shown that it makes a difference whether you take a look or look away. They moved us deeply. We would like to share a few impressions with you here. We will continue not to look away.
