09.05.2025 | Business, PartnerWith courage and passionThe new WE MIND PUBLISHING programme

A single book. Lavishly furnished like no other, illustrated in a spectacular mix of Hieronymus Bosch and steampunk styles. Its price: 120 EUR. Will it work? Spoiler: It did - and how! The venture ‘WE MIND PUBLISHING’, which was launched in 2024, has sold more than 7,000 copies of its premiere title ‘THE BOOK - The Ultimate Guide to Rebuilding a Civilisation’ so far. WMP is now announcing its new programme for autumn 2025. Three new titles, once again characterised by intense publishing passion and the courage to experiment.

The cooperation with Hungry Minds, the 52-member international group of authors and illustrators behind ‘THE BOOK’, will be continued. With ‘THE PUZZLE Octopolis’, WMP is publishing a work of art as a puzzle. Its motif: a distopian biopunk vision inspired by ‘THE BOOK’. Its contents: 1,000 individually cut puzzle pieces, a folding bag for the pieces, a collector's coin, two art prints, two cards with personalised greetings from Hungry Minds.

While the puzzle box is lavishly filled, a second box in the new WMP programme is (initially) completely empty: ‘THE BOX’ is a stylish object designed in the style of ‘THE BOOK’ - intended for people who want to store their own treasures and memories. Because: Times are changing, your story is here to last.

The third title also transcends conventional genre boundaries: THE WOODS is a uniquely designed illustrated book with breathtaking forest photographs by renowned German nature photographer Kilian Schönberger. The book is an invitation to discover and marvel and aims to inspire people to experience their own connection with nature in a new way. Its cover offers a special haptic experience: the paper imitates the structure of wood, the punch in the book cover reveals the planet Earth in tree bark structure.

The titles will be available from September. The publisher is announcing a special offer package to mark the market launch of the new programme.
